St. Vincent Place is a creation of St. Vincent de Paul for the community of Sault Ste. Marie in response to a call for an entity to provide shelter for men over 18 years of age in need of emergency shelter.
We are a non-profit organization, dedicated to assisting members of the community with basic needs and skill development. Although we no longer operate an emergency shelter, our transitional residence helps men prepare for independent living.
The main building is located at 222 Albert Street East, close to the city bus terminal and just minutes away from many helpful agencies.

Community Partners are agencies within the city of Sault Ste. Marie and area that we have a direct link to. This means that we refer our residents to them for assistance we cannot provide them with and they do the same for their clients. Our partnership with them allows us to link our residents to the agencies they need to help them regain the confidence to enter back into society.
