Dr. Frank Sarlo, a retired lawyer, has written a book about Sault Ste. Marie, exploring what makes the community 'A Special Place.'
All proceeds from the sales of Dr. Sarlo's book are going toward St. Vincent Place and Pauline's Place to help those in need. (Read more here.)
Books are available at several local retailers, including Stone's Office Supply, Savoy's Jewellers, First Impression, 45 Social, the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre, and the Art Gallery of Algoma.
Copies are also available at St. Vincent Place (note that we are unable to take debit or credit payment for the book).
