Staying in the Shelter
Our Shelter offers emergency housing to men over the age of 18. If you need a place to stay or some direction finding out which services or agencies can help with your particular need, you can call the Shelter office at 705-253-2770 ext. 3, or stop by. We are located at 222 Albert St. E. and the shelter office is the last door up the stairs off the parking lot.

Getting a Meal in the Soup Kitchen
If you are in need of a good, filling meal, or even just some company, you can join us at our Soup Kitchen. We serve dinners on Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 6:00 pm and lunches on Saturdays from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. No need to call ahead, just stop in.

Picking up a Food Bank Package
If you are running low on cash and groceries, we can help you out by providing a 4-day food package. Our food bank is open Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturdays from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Just stop in with ID for each member of your family and answer a few questions for our stats. You can access the St. Vincent Place Food Bank every two months. Delivery of your package may be available if you call ahead to 705-253-2770 ext. 5.

Buying Items in our Thrift Store
We keep the costs low in our Thrift Store so that most people can afford their basic needs. (For example, t-shirts can be purchased for $1 or less.) We know that sometimes it's not enough though, so if you need something that you can't afford, talk to a case worker (such as Ontario Works or IFC) and if you're eligible, they will be in touch with us to arrange for you to pick up what you need.
