In January 2022, our food bank helped 292 families – a total of 504 people, 115 of whom were children. That breaks down as:
177 single-person households
56 two-person households
26 three-person households
19 four-person households
8 five-person households
6 six-person households
Based on the costs of each package (if you missed our post breaking it down, check it out here), that works out to an estimated $14,245 worth of food given out in our food bank in January.
These numbers represent a 20% increase over what we saw in January 2021. It looks like it’s shaping up to be a busy year.
